Separate the receiver and the connected units from the power supply.

Unscrew the LNB cable from the receiver.

Remove the batteries from the remote control unit if you are not going to use
the receiver for quite some time.

Pack the receiver, the cables and the remote control unit in the carton.

Store the receiver and all accessories in a dry and dust-free place.

Protect the receiver against frost.

Cleaning
Clean the receiver housing only with a dry cloth.
Caution!
The receiver must never get wet. Never clean it with a wet cloth. Do not use any
cleaning products containing solvents, these can damage the surface of the
housing.

Do not kink or crush the power cable. If the power cable is damaged, you must get the
receiver repaired by qualified competent person before using it again. Otherwise there is
a risk of an electric shock.
Never let children tamper with the receiver.
Always have servicing work done by qualified competent person.
Correct Location
Place the receiver on a solid, flat support.
Avoid the proximity of:
Heat sources
Naked flames
Appliances with a strong magnetic field
Do not place containers with liquid in them on the receiver.
Avoid direct sunlight and places with unusually high amounts of dust.
Never cover up the ventilation slots. Make sure the receiver has sufficient ventilation.
Do not put any heavy objects on the receiver.
When you bring the receiver out of a cold into a warm environment, condensation may
be formed inside the device. In this case wait about one hour before operating it.
