Pay attention to not hit or damage the blade. Warranty is not valid for damages cause to blade by incorrect
sharpening, treatment or use.

Clean before and after every use. Do not clean with running water.

UNPACKING AND INSTALLING
Move the appliance only taking it from the base. If it is too heavy for one person, ask help.
Remove outer packaging. Bring away plastic bags, polyfoam and carton. Make sure that you removed all
packing parts before proceeding. Don’t let children play with packaging.
Position the appliance on an even, clean, dry and strong surface, that can bear the weigh of the appliance.
Make sure that
the space around is enough to move freely. (at least 2 mq). Position the slicer with knob and
ON/OFF Buttons in front of the user. Set the Cutting thickness knob on position “0”.
Verify that the tray (f) is stable and well positioned. If needed, fix it with the tray bolt (r). Clean appliance
with a cotton cloth lightly moistened with alcohol, dry well and wait 10 minutes before use.
FUNCTIONING

Insert the plug in a suitable socket.

Rise up the food presser (c) and position the food in the middle of the tray (f); block it with the food
presser (c). Adjust the thickness of the slice using the knob (a).

Position the tray (f) at the end of its movement.

Power on the appliance pushing the white switch (g, “I”). The blade starts rotating
Slice the food holding ONLY the food presser (c) to move the tray back and forward.
Collect the slice when it starts detaching paying attention to not bring the hands near the blade (d). Use
suitable tongs (not included) to remove slice from the blade.
When the food is too short to be blocked with the food presser (c) over it, use the from side of the food
presser to keep the meat against the blade.
CUTTING DANGER! DO NOT SLICE FOOD USING HANDS ON IT
To stop blade and switch off the appliance push the black button (g, “0”).
Set the knob (a) in position “0” to load or unload food.
Remove the plug from power supply.
NB
: during use the aluminium structure can heat slightly ; this is normal.
SHARPEN THE BLADE
WARNING: to sharpen the blade use ONLY the original sharpener included.
Sharpen the blade only when it is necessary, when cut is not clear and slice is dragged by the blade.
The periodicity of this operation depends on use amount and on the type of product that is cut.
Before performing sharpening it is NECESSARY to clean well all the slicer and oil well the blade as
explained in paragraph “Cleaning and mantainance”.

Make sure that the appliance is OFF and that the plug is NOT connected to the power supply.

Set the knob (a) in position “15”, maximum opening.

Unscrew the knob of sharpener lock (k) on the side of the sharpener. (Fig.3)

Lift up the sharpener and rotate it 180° so that the blade is between the 2 sharpeners. (Fig.4-5)
