Boot Settings Configuration
The options on the
Boot Settings Configuration
subscreen allow you to set up or modify
parameters for boot procedures.
The following options may be modified:

Quick Boot
•
Quiet Boot
•
AddOn ROM Display Mode
•
Bootup Num-Lock
•
PS/2 Mouse Support
•
Wait For ’F1’ If Error
•
Hit ’DEL’ Message Display
•
Interrupt 19 Capture
•
Boots Graphic Adapter Priority
Boot Device Priority
The options on the
Boot Device Priority
subscreen specify the order in which AMIBIOS attempts
to boot devices available in the system. It allows you to select the drive which will be booted first,
second, third, etc.
Hard Disk Drives
The
Hard Disk Drives
subscreen specifies the boot sequence of the hard drives available in the
system.
Removable Drives
The
Removable Drives
subscreen specifies the boot sequence of the removable devices available
in the system.
CD/DVD Drives
The
CD/DVD Drives
subscreen specifies the boot sequence of the CDROM and DVD devices
available in the system.
Saving and Exiting
When you have made all desired changes to
Boot
Setup, you may make changes to other Setup
options by using the right and left arrow keys to access other menus. When you have made all of
your changes, you may save them by selecting the
Exit
menu, or you may press
<Esc>
at any time
to exit the BIOS Setup Utility without saving the changes.
