Work with Remote Control program
All the T214AIS Base Station operations described below are performed from the
Base Station Configurator program console.
7.4.4
Access levels
To ensure the safe access to the control and important Base Station configuration
parameters, the Remote Control software has an authorisation system, and
implements several access levels:
•
Guest: - viewing only of the current settings, and diagnostics;
•
User – viewing of current settings, diagnostics and base control;
•
Administrator – full control, configuring and firmware upgrade.

Establishing connection with BSC
Use the “Hostname” field to enter the network name or IP address of the computer
which the BSC SW is running on. Also select the necessary access level from the
“Username” pull-down list and enter the appropriate password. Press the “Connect”
button. If the connection parameters and password are correct, the Status fields will
show the Connected status.
