Making a buttonhole
1. Be sure that the declutch knob in the handwheel is
into the ( ) direction.
2. Measure the diameter and thickness of the button.
Add the thickness and 0.3 cm (for bar tacks) to
diameter. Mark the size of the buttonhole on the
fabric. (fig

For stretch fabrics, lay a piece of paper where
the buttonhole will be placed.
3. Attach the Buttonhole Foot. Completely push back
the sliding part a of buttonhole foot. Place material
under foot so that the marking of buttonhole
passed through the center of foot. (fig

4. STEP 1 (front bar tack) (fig C )
Set pattern selection dial to No. 12
Set stitch length dial
between 0.4-1
Lower the presser foot and sew 5-6 stitches. Step
the machine so the needle is at the left side of the
stitches. Raise needle.
Haciendo ojales
1. Asegúrese que el seguro del volante esté en la
posición ( ).
2. Mida el diámetro y grosor del botón. Marcar el
largo del ojal en la tela agregando 0,3 cm para los
remates. (fig.

Para telas elásticas ponga una pieza de papel
donde se ubicará el ojal.
3. Coloque el pie para ojales. Desplazar
completamente para atrás la parte deslizante del
pie
a . Poner la tela bajo el pie de modo que la
marca del ojal quede al centro del pie (fig. B ).
4. PASO 1 : Remate frontal (fig. C )
Dial selector de puntada Nº 12
Dial largo puntada
entre 0,4 y 1
Baje el prensatelas y cosa 5 a 6 puntadas.
Detenga la máquina de manera que la aguja quede
en el costado izquierdo de la puntada. Suba la
aguja.
