(a) Assemble the packing to the liquid & suction
tube assy.

(b) Loosely install the expansion valve to the
evaporator.

(c) Insert the liquid & suction tube assy into the
dash panel, then tighten to the evaporator
together with expansion valve using two
hexagon socket bolts.
Tightening Torque
3.5 N•m (36 kgf•cm, 2.6 ft•lbf)

(d) Cut the packing as shown.
(e) Wrap the packing around the expansion valve as
shown.
