Thoroughly inspect the area where you intend to use the equipment and remove any
foreign objects.
•
Do not use the equipment if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•
Do not put your hands or feet near or under the blades.
•
Be careful not to slip or fall.
•
Do not start the engine in an enclosed area. Inhalation of exhaust fumes can be fatal.
•
Never lift or carry a machine while it is running.
•
Keep the machine in good working order.
•
Check the tightness of all nuts, bolts and screws regularly to verify safety of equipment
operating conditions.
•
Never store the fuel machine in the tank.
•
Keep the unit cleaned of grass, leaves, or grease to increase the risk of fire.
•
Do not use near electrical telephone wires, underground pipes, or hoses. If in doubt,
contact utility companies to locate underground utility lines.
•
If the unit strikes a foreign object, turn off the engine, disconnect the spark plug, check
the machine carefully for any damage and repair it before restarting the machine.
•
Never leave the drive-in position while the engine is running.
•
Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug cable before unclogging the blades
and performing repair, adjustment, or inspection.
•
Do not exceed the capacity of the machine by cultivating very deep or at a very fast
speed.
•
Never use the machine on slopes.
•
Be very careful when pulling the machine towards you.
•
Start carefully in the engine according to the instructions in the position the unit normal
operation, and the feet away from the blades.
