The
Change
button allows the operator to change the currently selected pro
fi
le. Clicking
the button will open a modal dialog which will present all the test pro
fi
les that are
available based on which connector module is installed. The list of user de

ned pro

les
will appear after the list of system de
fi
ned default pro
fi
les.
Click on
Save
to save the selected pro
fi
le. If a cable is inserted in the ACT v2 when a
test pro
fi
le is selected and saved, it will immediately begin a new test run.
Click on
Cancel
to cancel the selection pro
fi
le selection process. if a pro
fi
le was
previously de
fi
ned, it will continue to be the selected pro
fi
le is the process is cancelled.
Some test pro
fi
les contain pre-de
fi
ned custom tags. These custom tags are text
fi
elds
that must be de
fi
ned before the test pro
fi
le will be accepted. Examples of these custom
tags are SKU or Lot. These custom tags provides the factory the ability to attached
custom text
fi
elds to test reports.

While actively testing, a progress bar will show what tests are currently being run.
