1.8 DVD-Multi Drive 

1  Hardware Overview 

1.6 DVD Multi  

The DVD-Multi drive accepts 12-cm (4.72-inch) and 8-cm (3.15-inch) discs.  At maximum, 
the drive can play back a DVD at 8x speed, read CD-ROM at 24x speed, and write CD-R at 
16x speed and CD-RW at 4x speed. 

The specifications of the DVD-Multi drive are listed in Table 1-4.
