4.6 Memory module
CAUTION: The power of the computer must be turned off when you remove a memory
module. Remove a memory module with the power on risks damaging the
module or the computer itself.
Do not touch memory module terminals. Any dirt on the terminals may cause
memory access problems.
Never press hard or bend a memory module.
Remove a memory module
To remove a memory module, confirm that the computer is in boot mode. Then perform the
following procedure (See Figure 4-6-1 to 4-6-2).
1. Turn off the computer and remove the battery.
2. Remove Ram Door(See Section 4.3)
3. Release the left and right latches to remove a memory module. (See Figure 4-6-2)
