Handling the Remote Control
REMOTE CONTROL AND APP INSTRUCTIONS
Location of the remote control
Use the remote control within a distance of 16.4 ft (5 meters)
from the air conditioner, pointing it towards the receiver.
Reception is confirmed by a beep.

Replacing the Battery
• The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or other
materials block the signals from the remote control to the unit.
• Prevent any liquid from spilling onto the remote control. Do
not expose the remote control to direct sunlight or heat.
• If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit is exposed to
direct sunlight, the air conditioner may not function properly.
Use curtains to prevent the sunlight from falling on the receiver.
• If other electrical appliances react to the remote control,
either move these appliances or consult your local dealer.

Insulation piece
Complete the following steps simultaneously:
1. Slightly press tab “A” in the direction of arrow 1.
2. Pull “B” in the direction of arrow 2.
1. Only use a CR2025 battery.
2. Do not leave the battery in the remote control if it is not
going to be used for 2 or 3 months.
3. Dispose of used batteries properly.

First remove the insulation piece (if available) and then install the
battery according to the following steps.
