5.1 Inspection

There are daily and regular inspections in maintenance and inspection procedures.

■

Daily inspection

Inspect the following in daily inspection:

Table 5-1 Daily inspection items

Items

Inspection contents

Response in case of abnormality

LEDs

Check that LEDs are clearly visible
when lit.

If they are not distinguishable, clean
them with a soft cloth.

Connectors Check that the connector is

connected properly, all cables are
tightly connected, and there is no
abnormal appearance.

If anything wrong is found, contact
your Toshiba service representative.

Ventilation
port

Check that the ventilation port of the
PC which connects the card is free
of dust and stains.

If the ventilation port is clogged or
dirty, remove the dirt with a vacuum
cleaner and wipe the port with a soft
cloth.

Indoor
environment

Check the temperature and humidity
of the room where the product is
installed that they meet the product
specifications.

If the temperature and humidity are
out of the product specification
range, it is within the product
specification range

Periodic inspection

Periodic inspection is recommended at least once a year to prevent accidents and keep the

product in good operating condition for a long period of time.

For periodic inspection, consult your nearest Toshiba service representatives.
