Variable Search System

point is given an Index mark for easy location. However

VHS Index Sear
ch System (VISS) cannot r
ecognize index
marks made by old VCRs. If the VCR has tr
ouble finding a
mark, it is pr
obably because the cassette was r
ecor
ded on a
VCR without VISS. If you want to index two pr
ograms in a
ro
w,
set your VCR to stop, then star
t r
ecor
ding each
pr
ogram.
