Expansion Options

Using the external USB diskette drive

External USB diskette drive and connector cable

TECHNICAL NOTE: You may attach the external USB diskette 
drive while the computer is on or off. 

If you attempt to use the drive when it is not attached to the 
computer, you will receive an error message.

To attach the external USB diskette drive cable to the USB port, 
gently push the connector into the USB port. 

Attaching the diskette drive cable to the USB port 

The computer automatically recognizes the external USB diskette 
drive and calls it A:.
