Connection example
We recommend, as illustrated here, Scart 4 or 5 for a Set Top Box and Scart 3 for a VCR.
• Before connecting any external equipment, turn off all main power switches.
• On the back of the TV are 3 Scart sockets, a selection of phono jacks and an S-video jack, all of which will enable
you to connect a variety of auxiliary equipment.
• In addition, there is a fixed/variable external audio output which enables the connection of a suitable audio system
and a 3.5 mm switched phono socket to enable an external active Woofer system to be connected.
• The COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT consists of three component video jacks (Y, P

/C
B
, P
R
/C
R
) and provides the
best picture performance. These jacks can only be used with the component video compatible components i.e. DVD
video player etc.
• The component video signals input from
1,
2 and RGB/PC are not output from the MONITOR output
terminals.
• Additional equipment and cables shown in the following pages are not supplied with this TV.
