Getting started

You can choose from 8 different languages as shown below for the
on-screen display of adjustment menus and messages.

Press the MENU button, then
press the or button
repeatedly to display the SET
UP menu.

Press the or button
repeatedly to highlight
Language.

Press the or button
repeatedly until your desired
language is displayed.

Notes:
• When you use the remote control and display the menu, the

/ or / buttons on the TV control panel deactivate.
Otherwise, when you use the control panel on the TV left pocket
and display the menu, the / or / buttons on the remote
control deactivate.

• When you connect external equipment such as VCR or DVD to

the EXT1, EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, EXT5 and EXT6, Auto tuning,
Manual tuning and Programme sorting are not available, and
Instead of them, Manual setting appears in the SET UP menu.

• If you connect external equipment via component video source to

external input, Colour system selection in the Manual setting
menu is not available.

• If you do not make a selection for a while, the menu display

disappears automatically.

• If you want to close an on-screen display instantly, press the EXIT

button.

• To return to the previous menu, press the MENU button.
• The

buttons function as the Programme position /

buttons when no menu display on the screen.

• The

buttons function as the Volume

– /

+ buttons

when no menu display is on the screen.
