Discharge chute plugged.

Clean chute with a stick.

Move throttle to “FAST”.

Auger does not rotate.

Snow frozen to auger or
housing.

Scrape snow off with a stick.

Drive belt tension low.

Adjust belt tension.

Drive belt is worn, loose or
broken.

Install new drive belt.

Drive belt is off pulley.

Install blade drive belt and
check idler pulley and belt
guides for correct position.

Drive chain broken.

Replace or repair chain.
Abnormal vibration.

Snow frozen to auger.

idler pulley for correct
position.

Engine mounting bolts are

Tighten engine mounting
bolts.

Loose engine pulley, idler or

Tighten the appropriate
pulley.

Engine pulley is damaged.
