Installing an External Antenna

1. Open the controller door and control module.
2. Remove the plastic hole plug in the base of the cabinet.
3. Route the antenna cable through the base of the cabinet and

attach the cable connector to the receptical provided on the

back of the control module.

4. For smooth surface walls, simply attach the antenna using the supplied

foam tape. When installing the antenna on a rough or uneven surface,

use the provided clamps and screws.

5. Close the control module. Change the antenna setting from Internal

to External as described in “

Radio Antenna Option

”on

page 50

Antenna Kit
TIS-ANT

The external antenna kit (TIS-ANT) is designed to increase the

reception of the ET Everywhere data transmission.
For best results, install the antenna as high above the controller as

possible without straining the cable. The antenna must be oriented in

a vertical position away from any power source.

Note:

In some cases, the controller may need to be relocated to obtain

acceptable reception.
