Maintenance
Cooling System Safety
•
Swallowing engine coolant can cause poisoning;
keep out of reach from children and pets.
•
Discharge of hot, pressurized coolant or touching
a hot radiator and surrounding parts can cause
severe burns.
– Always allow the engine to cool at least 15
minutes before removing the radiator cap.
– Use a rag when opening the radiator cap, and
open the cap slowly to allow steam to escape.
Removing Debris from the
Cooling System
Service Interval:
Before each use or daily
Every 100 hours
Note:
To prevent the engine from overheating, keep
the radiator and oil cooler clean. Normally, check
them daily and, if necessary, clean any debris off
these parts. Check and clean more frequently in dusty
and dirty conditions.
