Installing the Weights

Procedure
To comply with ANSI/OPEI B71.4-2004 Standard, you
must add weights to the machine.
CAUTION
The bagger adds a lot of weight to the rear
of the machine and may cause an unstable
condition, which could result in a loss of
control.
The following table shows what weights you use when
you install a bagger.

Install caster weights on the front casters with a
clevis pin and hairpin cotter (
).
2.
Install the nut (3/8 inch) onto each tap bolt (3/8 x
1-3/4 inches) and install the tap bolts into each
weight (
3.
Tighten the tap bolt so that it touches the frame
and then tighten the jam nut against the weight.

Install the tap bolt against
the frame and tighten the
nut.

Install the weight-mount bracket under the
footrest with 2 carriage bolts (5/16 x 3/4 inch)
and 2 flange nuts (5/16 inch).
