Installing the Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Guard
2 Phillips screw
2 Washer
2 Lock washer
Procedure
1. Remove the 2 Phillips screws and washers taped to the
guard (
Figure 3 ).
2. Slide the guard onto the trimmer base as shown in Figure 3 .

3. Secure the guard using 2 Phillips screws.

Installing the Edge Guard

1 Edge guard
Procedure
Insert the ends of the wire edge guard into the holes in the trimmer
housing as shown in (
Figure 4 ).
