Using the Cylinder Lock
WARNING
The thrust frame may lower when it is in the raised
position, causing serious injury or death.
Install the cylinder lock before performing
maintenance that requires the thrust frame to be
raised.
Installing the Cylinder Lock
1.
Start the engine.
2.
Lower the thrust frame to the fully-lowered position.
3.
Stop the engine.
4.
Position the cylinder lock over the cylinder rod (
5.
Secure the cylinder lock with the cotter pin and clevis
pin (
).
6.
Turn the engine to the On position, and raise the thrust
frame until it rests on the cylinder lock.

1.
