Remove the positive battery cable.

Clean cable clamps and battery terminals.
7.
Connect the positive battery cable.
8.
Connect the negative battery cable.
9.
Coat the cable terminals and battery posts with
Grafo 112X skin-over grease (Toro Part No.
505-47).
10.
Close and latch the battery-compartment door.
Replacing the Fuses
The electrical system is protected by fuses. If a fuse
opens, check the component and wiring for a short
circuit to ground.

Remove the open fuse.
4.
Install a new fuse of a rated amperage indicated
on the fuse block decal.
5.
Assemble the cover onto the fuse block (or onto
the in-line fan fuse).
6.
Close and latch the battery compartment door.
