Setup

Note:

Determine the left and right side of the machine from the normal operating position.

Installing the Steering
Wheel

TC Models Only

Parts needed for this procedure:

Steering wheel

Cover

Procedure

If the cover is installed, remove it from the hub
of the steering wheel.

Remove the locknut (1/2 inch) from the steering
shaft.

Ensure that the front wheels are centered.

Slide the steering wheel onto the steering shaft.

Secure the steering wheel to the shaft using
the previously removed locknut (1/2 inch) and
tighten it to 24 to 30 N∙m (18 to 22 ft-lb).

Install the cover onto the steering wheel.
