after the auxiliary 

stage turns on.

For heat pump 

systems that are 

“dual fuel” (use a gas 

furnace for auxiliary 

stage heat) you can 

turn this feature on 

to turn off the heat 

pump when the 

auxiliary stage of 

heating has been 

called for.

This feature is 

disabled when a
