BIOS Features Setup Screen
The “BIOS FEATURES SETUP” allow you to configure your system for basic operation. The user
can select the system’s default speed, boot-up sequence, keyboard operation, shadowing and
security.
A brief introduction of each setting is given below.
Virus Warning:
Allows you to choose the VIRUS warning feature for IDE Hard Disk boot sector
protection. If this function is enabled and someone attempt to write data into this area, BIOS will
show a warning message on screen and alarm beep.
CPU L1 & L2 CACHE:
This item allows you to enable L1 & L2 cache.
QUICK POWER ON SELF-TEST:
This item allows you to speed up Power On Self Test (POST) after
power-up the computer. When enabled, the BIOS will shorten or skip some check items during
POST.
