Using the local storage function
T7E series cameras support U disk local storage, local recording directly without NVR. You need to make
sure the USB storage device is in FAT32 format, and then use top0 Camera Tool to control the recording
action. It is a pity that the top0 Camera Tool has not yet released the MacOS version, so if you are using a
Mac, there is no way to control it now. So please use a Windows computer to control it, or wait for the
MacOS version of top0 Camera Tool to be released.
Let's talk about the USB storage device first. It can be a U disk or a mobile hard disk. But the USB Storage
Device must have only one partition and must be in FAT32 format. On some operating systems, you may
not be able to format high capacity disks in FAT32 format. You can format the disk in FAT32 format by
other means, such as using DiskGenius. In short, you need to format it into FAT32 format on the computer.
Then connect to the USB2.0 port on the back of the camera to be recognized by the camera.
Then talk about the necessary settings for the camera. The encoding of the IP First Stream must be H.264,
and the maximum supported recording format is 1080P@30fps. H.265 and 1080P@60fps are not allowed
for this function
Please note that submitting any configuration changes will require reboot the camera to take effect.
Next, please connect the USB storage device to the USB2.0 port on the back of the camera, and then turn
on the power of the camera. For T7E-SDI and T7E-NDI, it will automatically start recording after power on.
