The default LAN IP of the Topex VoxiPlus equipment is
192.168.110.15
.
You should check the value with the manufacturer. Alternately, if you don’t know the local IP of the
VOXI device, you must connect to it by means of the serial cable to find out.
The WAN connection
The Ethernet cable must be inserted with one end in the WAN connector located on the front
panel of the TOPEX VoxiPLUS equipment and with the other end into the Ethernet port of your ADSL
or Cable modem. The default IP on the WAN side is
10.10.10.3

The connection to E1 trunks
The E1 cables must be inserted into the RJ-45 connectors labelled E1/A, respectively E1/B, on
the right side of the front panel of the PG-VoIP card. The cable must have the following pinout:
Pins 1 (orange with white) and 2 (orange) of the RJ-45 connectors (labeled E1/A,
respectively E1/B E1/B) should be used for reception (Rx);
Pins 4 (blue) and 5 (blue with white) of the same RJ-45 connectors should be used for
transmission (Tx);
The other pins (wire pairs) are not used.
3.3
Connecting the telephony cables
The telephony interfaces of VOXI can be connected in different ways: to an analogue trunk of
your PBX exchange (in case of FXS ports) or to a local interface (office subscriber) of PBX exchange,
in case of the FXO ports.
The telephone cables must be connected with one end to the ports of the MPAI card (type
RJ45), and the opposite end to the trunk or subscriber line of the private exchange, as shown in the
drawings below:
