Disposing I WEEE-directive
The Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE – 2002/96/EC)
became effective throughout Europe on August 13, 2005. Its purpose is the
prevention of waste electrical and electronic equipment, and the reuse, recycling
and other forms of recovery. Hereinafter, Keyence declares its recycling scheme
based on the WEEE directive.

Within this directive, Tk-trainer products are categorized as B2B products and are
marked according to the WEEE directive. The crossed out wheeled bin symbol
appears on all products which need to be recycled.
If the crossed out wheeled bin symbol appears on the product you
purchased from us, please take note of the following and dispose it as
mentioned below.
Any new increase in operating costs for manufacturers is normally reflected in a price
increase in the product. However, Tk-trainer has decided not to increase the prices of
our products but to share these new costs with our customers.
Our approach to sharing this new challenge with you is:

Tk-trainer pays for the costs of treatment, recycling, and recovery of the WEEE
to meet the targets set by the related law and regulation.

Tk-trainer pays for the costs of data management and reporting to the
Government Body to demonstrate compliance with all administrative
requirements of WEEE directive.

In return Tk-trainer is asking its customers to pay for the cost of transportation
of your WEEE to Tk-trainer.
It is on your responsibility to arrange and pay for costs of collection and transportation
to us.
