INTRODUCTION
Thank you for buying the new RBT receiver which combines the GPS and Radio
Tracking technologies.
The new RBT receiver incorporates a Bluetooth device that allows the connection to an
Android device (mobile phone, tablet, etc.) to manage different aspects of hunting (points
of interest, planning of position of every competitor in the hunting, etc..) and visualize
every dog on different type of maps to facilitate the task of recovering the animals.
Read carefully the instructions of use of the new RBT receiver:
PRECAUTIONS
To ensure the good functioning of the equipment, take in consideration the following
recommendations:
•
DO NOT connect any charger to the micro USB connector. This connector is
NOT a feeder.
•
Always use the power adapter supplied by Tinyloc and connect it properly. No
other feeder is compatible with the RBT receiver, its use could cause irreparable
damage to the receiver.
•
Do not disassemble or modify the device, damage and malfunction of the circuit
can be caused. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by incorrect
user manipulation.
•
If it will be a long period of time without use you must remove the batteries from
the RBT Receiver.
•
Do not use sharp objects to remove the batteries, the internal electronic might
be damaged.
•
The receiver is not waterproof so protect it from water.
•
Clean the receiver with a damp cloth. Do not use alcohol, thinner or benzene
solutions for cleaning.
•
Do not leave the unit exposed to high temperatures or heat sources. In the
vehicle, never leave the receiver exposed to sunlight for a long time.
•
Do not handle nor the receiver nor the additional devices (phone, tablet) while
driving, it can be dangerours for your safety.
•
Remember that while using, the receiver antenna should always be deployed (in
both RT / GPS mode).
1. GET ThE DEVICES READY (RBT RECEIVER AND SMARTPhONE
OR TABLET)
The First time you use the RBT receiver with a Smartphone or tablet it will be needed to
set the correct options of the two devices.
1.1 TO PREPARE YOUR SMARTPHONE OR TABLET
a) Acces the Android menu and look for the icon “Play Store” loaded by default in
all Android devices.
b) Once inside “Google Play” press the magnifying glass icon that appears.
Look for the TINYMOB application to download it. This can be done by writing
TINYMOB with the digital keyboard that appears on screen.
c) Download and install the application on your Smartphone or tablet using the
instructions that appear on the screen of the phone or tablet.
d) Activate the Bluetooth by selecting “Settings” from your Android device.
1.2 TO PREPARE YOUR RECEIVER
To use the RBT receiver with the Bluetooth option enabled you must select:
a) MENU / MAPS / BLUETOOTH / TINYMOB / OK
b) Verify in the radio tracking screen will TM symbol appears. (TINYMOB activated).
1.3 SYNCHRONIZE YOUR MOBILE DEVICE WITH THE RBT RECEIVER
You should activate the “Bluetooth” option in your mobile device:
a) Enter in the TinyMob software from your telephone.
b) Enter in the headland “Configuration”.
c) Enter in “GPS”.
d) Enter in “GPS External”.
Entre en “GPS Externo”.
e) Press “search device” and wait till you see the receiver ID (The receiver ID is the
identifier of your Bluetooth receiver. To find out, go prior to MENU / OPTIONS
RBT / BLUETOOTH / INFO RBT.
(Here you will find the ID of the receiver).
f) Link receiver and phone by clicking on the ID of the receiver.
1.4 SEARCH
a) Go to the offline map icon and select any map. The display shows the map
requested and the message “connecting”. Then you will get the following
message.
Confirm the password XXXXXX (numbers) to synchronize the “ID” device
(receiver’s id).
b) Press “OK”.
c) Then go to the GPS search screen of the RBT receiver, you can begin to
locate the dogs, you will see their GPS position reflected on the map previously
selected on your mobile device.
