MACHINE USE AND CARE

avoidcontact.Ifcontactaccidentally

immediately.
Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation and burns.

Donotuseabatterypackormachine
thatisdamagedormodiied.
Damaged or modiied batteries may
exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting
in ire, explosion or risk of injury.
•
Donotexposeabatterypackormachine
toireorexcessivetemperatures.
Exposure to ire or temperatures
exceeding 130°C may cause explosion.
• Follow all the charging instructions
anddonotchargethebatterypack
or outside the temperature range
speciiedintheinstructions.
Charging
improperly or at temperatures outside
of the speciied range may damage the
battery and increase the risk of ire.

Donotchargethebatterypackin
placeswithvapoursorlammable
substancespresentorinroomswhich
aredamp.Ifitisnotpossibletoavoid
damp environments, use a power
socketprotectedbyadiferential
switch (RCD-Residual Current Device)
to reduce the risk of electric shocks.
• Do not rest tools, wrenches, coins or
metalobjectsingeneralonthebatteryas
thiscouldcauseashortcircuitbetween
the contacts. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a ire.

Keepthebatterychargecable
out of the reach of children.
2.6 SERVICE
•
Haveyourmachineservicedbyaqualiied
repairpersonusingonlyidentical
replacement parts. This will ensure that
the safety of the machine is maintained.

Neverservicedamagedbattery
packs.
Service of battery packs should
only be performed by the manufacturer
or authorised service providers.
3. SAFETY WARNINGS FOR
RIDE-ON LAWN MOWER
WITH SEATED OPERATOR
3.1 TRAINING
•
Become acquainted with the controls
and the proper use of the machine.
Learn to stop the machine quickly.
•
Never allow children or persons
unfamiliar with these instructions to
use the machine. Local regulations
may restrict the age of the operator.
•
Do not allow children or other
passengers to ride on the machine.
•
Bear in mind that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents or unexpected
events occurring to other people or their
property. It is the user’s responsibility
to assess the potential risk of the area
where work is to be carried out and
to take all the necessary precautions
to ensure their own safety and that of
others, particularly on slopes or rough,
slippery and unstable ground.
•
If the machine is sold or lent to others, make
sure that the operator looks over the user
instructions contained in this manual.
3.2 PREPARATION
PersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE)
•
Always wear suitable work attire, hard-
wearing safety footwear with non-slip soles
and long trousers. Do not operate the
machine when barefoot or wearing open
sandals. Wear hearing protection devices.
•
The use of hearing protection devices may
reduce the operator's capacity to hear
warnings (cries or alarms). Be careful of
what occurs around you in the work area.
Work area/Machine
•
Thoroughly inspect the entire work
area and remove anything that could be
thrown by the machine or damage the
cutting device/rotating units (stones,
branches, iron wire, bones, etc.).
3.3 DURING OPERATION

Work only in daylight or with good artiicial
light in good visibility conditions.
