Interference voltage must be grounded before
further work.
Note:
Load is depending on voltage and time. For safety
reasons it reduces automatically. At 230 V and 20°C
ambient temperature, load is 31 mA for 15 seconds.
Afterwards, the additional load becomes highly
resistive. After 30 s cool-down, the additional load is
ready again.
4.3 Test with extension
(Art-no.: 81091)
Performing tests at side conductor rails (3rd rail)
becomes safer and easier if using the L-formed
extension to connect the conductor rail.
- Screw the extension onto the thread of the
test electrode
- Hold the other test electrode onto the top ot the
extension. The self-test is performed.
The
display shows „rdY“ and the green LED flashes.
- Contact the earthed rail with the test elctrode and
contact the 3rd rail with the extension.
