Chapter 4 Standalone Operation

4.2.11 Menu Option - 11  WHEEL STEP

This option is used to set/change the adjustment rate of the top panel wheel.

Press the MENU button, then use the wheel to scroll through the menu options

Press the MENU button to enter the 11 WHEEL STEP  option. 

Use the wheel to select the required adjustment, DECIMAL, UNITS or DECADES.

DECIMAL - Adjusts the least significant digits 

(e.g. 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 etc).
UNITS - Adjusts the units digits (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc).
DECADES - Adjusts the most significant digits 

(e.g. 10, 20, 30 etc).

Press MENU to save the setting.

4.2.12 Menu Option - 12  BRIGHTNESS

In  certain  applications,  it  may  be  necessary  to  adjust  the brightness  of  the  LED  display.  The

brightness  is  set    as  a  value  from  0  (Off)  to  100  (brightest).  The  display  can  be  turned  off

completely by entering a setting of zero, however, pressing the MENU button on the top panel will

temporarily illuminate the display at its lowest brightness setting to allow adjustments. When the

display returns to its default operating display mode, it will turn off again.

Press the MENU button, then use the wheel to scroll through the menu options.

Press the MENU button to enter the 12 BRIGHTNESS option.

Use the wheel to adjust the brightness, then press the MENU button to store the selection and return

to the main display.

4.2.13 Menu Option - 13  INFORMATION

This option is used to display the present Software version number.

Press the MENU button, then use the wheel to scroll through the menu options.

The INFORMATION option displays the revision of the software installed in the unit.

Press the MENU button to enter the 13 INFORMATION option and view the Thorlabs web site

address.

Press the MENU button to return to the main display.
