Gas Conversion
1.
Replace the Main Burner Injectors (Hobs):
a.
Remove the trivets, hob drip tray and griddle drip pan (for GL174 models).
b.
Remove the gas control knobs from the front control panel. The control knobs are a push
fit onto the shaft of the gas control valves. Remove the oven control knob by loosening
the screw.
d.
Slacken the burner lock screws, then remove the open burners.
CAUTION!
Only qualified/authorized service persons are to carry out gas conversion operations.
Before proceeding with the gas conversion procedure, allow the unit to cool down first, and
ensure that the main gas supply connected to the equipment is shut-off, and lock-out/tag-
out procedure is followed, to prevent injury to persons or damage to properly.
c.
Slacken the 4 screws on the front of the control panel and remove it from the
equipment.
Take caution when removing the front panel cover of GL174 units. Ensure to
disconnect the piezo igniter wire.
e.
Remove and replace the rear main burner injectors using 13mm spanner. Ensure to
install the correct main burner injector. Refer to the Gas Specification Table on page 5 of
this manual for the corresponding Main Burner Injector
size for each specific gas type.
