Unpack your Digital Television Recor der (DTR) and check you have all the
following accessories:
• Remote Control
• SCART lead
• Aerial lead
• Mains lead
• User Manual
• Remote control TV set-up codes
• 2 x AA batteries ( p pllaa c cee t thh e essee iinn t too yy o ouu r r RR e emm o ottee CC o onn t trroo l l aa s s ss h hoo w wnn )

Place your DTR in your pr eferred position and connect it to your TV following these
simple steps :-

Unplug the aerial cable from your VCR (or TV) and plug it into the

socket of your DTR.

Using the aerial lead supplied, connect the RR

socket on your DTR to the
A Aeerr i iaa l l II n nsocket of your VCR (or TV).

Using the scart lead supplied, connect the TTVV
S SCC A ARR T Tsocket on your D
TR to the
A AVV 1 1//EE X XTT11 / /AA U UXX 1 1scart socket at the back of your TV.

Finally, now connect the mains lead to the

socket on your DTR and
switch on at the mains. Reconnect the power to all your existing equipment.
Turn your TV ON.

Press the D DTTRR button on your remote contr ol. The DD T TRR button will momentarily
flash. This will confirm that the remote contr ol is working correctly .
Now wait for the light on the front of your D TR to turn from Amber to Gr een.
