For supervisory staff:
DANGER
Check the sterilized items for apparent damage. Damaged and
/ or moist packaged items must be considered non-sterile.
DANGER
Perform batch documentation and sterilizer release
documentation pursuant to DIN 58946-6.
♦
Check the sterilized items.
♦
Evaluate the complete process for correct program selection according to
the configuration and for correct values for parameters relevant to the
process (in particular temperatures, pressures and times).
♦
Sign the batch printout with your name or code.
♦
If the batch number of the sterilizing program executed is of relevance for
subsequent use of the sterilized items, note this number on all labels of
the sterilization containers, steel wire baskets or the sterilized items
themselves.
♦
Release the sterilized items.
INFORMATION
Store the batch printout of the integrated printer as per your
institutional quality management policy (we recommend a
minimum of 10 years).
The sterilizer is ready for a new cycle immediately after the sterilized items have
been removed and the feed water tank has been filled up (if required) with
deionized water.
INFORMATION
It is recommended to keep the sterilizer at working
temperature until the sterilization workload has been
completed. Always press the Preheating key (23) after
unloading sterilized items.
For information on how to activate the Preheating key, refer to Chapter 8.4.
INFORMATION
The door (1) should always be left open when the sterilizer is
not in use. This will allow residual moisture to escape.
