Mixer control system
Electronic components inside the unit control motor power, motor fan,
vertical lift, main incoming power, Ethernet (in a future enhancement),
handheld device power, motor hall-effect sensors, and the main
disconnect switch. The control system (Figure 1.6) is located in the
mast support structure of the DS 300 S.U.M. mixer unit. Component
cables run from the mixer control system to the tethered handheld
control device.

Optional drum positioner
An optional drum positioner (Figure 1.7) is designed to be used with
the dolly that is supplied with the DS 300 S.U.M. The drum postitioner
may be utilized when the location of the drum, relative to the impeller
location in the drum, is critical.

Mixing motor assembly
The mixing motor assembly is a directly coupled drive assembly that
supplies power to the drive shaft and impeller to initiate the mixing
process. The mixing motor assembly is made up of the parts shown
in Figure 1.8.
