Low Battery warning
If the battery voltage is below the configured threshold (see chap-
ter 4.11) the following warning appears:
The beeper generates a single pulse every 32s. This acoustic
warning can be suppressed by pressing the alarm acknowledge
key. After 8h this warning comes up again. The battery needs to
be changed. However, the RadEye can still be operated for sever-
al hours.
If the battery voltage falls below 2V, the battery symbol starts
flashing. An acoustic warning is generated every 8s and can’t be
acknowledged. The battery needs to be changed as soon as possi-
ble.
The battery needs to be changed as soon as possible. Dead batter-
ies may leak. Remove them from the RadEye to prevent corro-
sion.
Battery life is significantly decreased at low temperatures. Cells
which give a mid-scale voltage reading in a warm building may
fail rapidly if the instrument is then operated under outdoors con-
ditions in winter.
