The above are ranked in order of mild to strong cleaning agents. Items 5
and 6 should only be used if severe rust and scale stains have developed
and cannot be removed by any other method. In any case the chemical
should be allowed to do the cleaning with minimal scrubbing. Always
follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Materials known to be effective in disinfecting:
* Household Bleach
* Glutaraldehyde
* Alcohol
Consult with your staff chemist for advice on using these chemicals.
Caution Always rinse with copious amounts of clean water. Air dry and/or
fill with fresh water and follow the guidelines in "WATER" above.
