Detection of remote controls and room thermostats
When the boiler is first put into service (or after the BAG
control card is RESET) the system takes a few seconds
to detect the presence of remote controls. If the system
detects a remote control, it automatically configures
communication with it. If no remote control is detected in
a CH zone, that zone is configured for control by a room
thermostat.
If the system’s initial configuration has detected the pres-
ence of a remote control in a particular zone, but no heat
request is received from that zone for a pre-determined
time-out, the system re-configures the zone for control by
a room thermostat (until the next system RESET).
Once the system has completed automatic configuration,
set the room thermostat to the required temperature (~
20°C) or check that the remote control has activated a
heat request.

Every time electrical power is switched on,
the boiler performs an automatic venting cycle
that lasts about 12 minutes. Two dashes flash
on the display in an alternating manner dur-
ing automatic venting.
At the end of the automatic venting cycle, check
the pressure on the gauge (1) again. If nec-
essary, turn the boiler off at the mains power
switch and at the control panel and refill the
CH circuit as instructed on page 36.
Once the CH circuit reaches the right pressure,
switch the boiler back on again to start the auto-
matic venting cycle. Repeat these steps until the
pressure in the CH circuit stabilises between 1
and 1.2 bar.

To interrupt automatic venting, remove the central
knob and press the combustion analysis button (C).
