INSTALLER

DRAINING

Switch the electricity supply OFF at the control panel and
at the system’s main switch before starting to drain the
boiler or storage cylinder.

DRAINING THE CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM

- Make sure that the CH system fill cock (1) is closed.
- Close the shut-off cocks for the central heating and

domestic hot water circuits.

- Open the non-return valve (6) to facilitate draining. See

the figure to ascertain the correct position for the dot
on the screw.

- Connect a hose to the hose union on the drain cocks (3)

and (4) and open the cocks.

- Close the drain cocks (3) and (4) once the circuit is

empty

- Close the non-return valves (6). See the figure to ascer-

tain the correct position for the dot on the screw.

DRAINING THE STORAGE CYLINDER

- Close the shut-off cocks for the central heating and

domestic hot water circuits.

- Make sure that the CH system fill cock (1) is closed.
- Connect a hose to the storage cylinder drain cock (2)

and open the cock

- Close the drain cock (2) once the circuit is empty.

NOTE!
Open a hot water tap to facilitate draining of the storage
cylinder.
