TROUBLESHOOTING

Indoor Unit Error Code Display

Display

LED STATUS

E0

Indoor unit EEPROM parameter error. / Disconnect power for 3 minutes then restart. If
“EO” appears again replace PC board.

E1

Indoor - outdoor units communication error. / Check for cross wiring and wire continuity.
If OK replace the PC board.

E2

Zero-crossing signal detection error. / Check compressor resistance. Replace indoor
PCB.

E3

Indoor fan speed has been out of control. / Replace indoor PCB (and /or) indoor fan

motor.

E4

Indoor room temperature sensor T1 open or short circuit. / Replace indoor room

temperature sensor (and /or) replace indoor PCB.

E5

Evaporator coil temperature sensor T2 open circuit or short circuit. / Replace evaporator

coil temperature sensor (and /or) replace indoor PCB.

EC

Refrigerant leakage detection / Find leak and repair (and /or) replace indoor PCB.

F1

Outdoor temperature sensor T4 open circuit or short circuit / Replace outdoor

temperature sensor (and /or) replace indoor PCB.

F2

Condenser coil temperature sensor T3 open circuit or short circuit. / Replace condenser

coil temperature sensor (and /or) replace indoor PCB.

F3

Compressor discharge temperature sensor T5 open circuit or short circuit / Replace

compressor discharge temperature sensor (and /or) replace indoor PCB.

F4

Outdoor unit EEPROM parameter error / Disconnect power for 3 minutes then restart. If

problem persists replace outdoor PC board.

P0

IPM malfunction or IGBT over current protection. / Check compressor winding

resistance (0.7ohm), coil to coil and to gnd. Compressor windings should read low ohms,

zero ohms = short, open = break in winding. If OK replace IPM module (and /or) replace

outdoor PCB.

P1

Over voltage or over low voltage protection. / Check supply voltage, if this is not the

problem replace outdoor PCB.

P2

High temperature protection of compressor top diagnosis and solution (only for 24K

model) / Check refrigerant, compressor hi temp. switch. If OK replace outdoor sensor

and PCB.

P4

Inverter compressor drive error. / Check IPM module, compressor resistance (0.7ohm),

coil to coil and to gnd.
