5.08 Robot Tool Software Installation
1. Inse r t the Installation floppy disk into you r "A" disk
d r ive o r the Robot Tool CD into you r CD d r ive.
2. Click on "Sta r t" and then click on "Run" and type in
the command p r inted on the disk label and click
on OK.
3. Follow the inst r uctions given by the p r og r am
which installs the softwa r e. A new Robot Tool
icon will be c r eated on the Windows desktop.
Program Description
The Robot Tool softwa r e is to cont r ol and monito r
the INT06 inte r face. The CAN-inte r face must fi r st be
installed and functional. If not, please install the CAN-
inte
r face fi r st. Fo r inst r uctions r efe r to the The r mal
A r c Install section.
Sta r t the softwa r e by double-clicking the icon on the
Windows desktop.
The actual states of the digital inputs a r e shown in
the uppe r pa r t of the p r og r am window.
In the lowe r pa r t of the p r og r am window, diffe r ent
pa r amete r s/inputs can be enabled o r disabled by click-
ing on the buttons 1-10. A clicked button means en-
abled a
r eleased button means disabled.
In the r ight pa r t of the p r og r am window, all voltage
levels of the analog inputs a r e displayed as slide r s
and thei r actual value.
The ve r sion of the ope r ating system of the r obot in-
te r face is displayed in the status line below.
With the D r op-Down lists next to the buttons 1
th r ough 8, any pa r amete r can be assigned to the eight
analog inputs. Those assignments a r e also saved pe r -
manently into the machine. Assigning one pa r amete r
to seve r al inputs is not possible.
When assigning the pa r amete r s, notice that some
pa r amete r s a r e only usable in ce r tain ope r ating modes
(e.g.: "twinpulse f r equency" on Powe r Maste r SP
Range is only available when the twinpulse mode is
active).
