PCI Cards

Since the RES-22DCX is only 2RU (3.5”) high, PCI cards must be installed horizontally
through the PCI Riser Card (see

Figure 2-6

), which supports a total of three PCI cards:

• Upper Slot: One PCI-X (64-bit, 100/133-MHz) card

• Middle Slot: One PCI-

Express

(x16) card

• Lower Slot: One PCI-X (64-bit, 100/133-MHz) card
