Use and care of the battery and charger
• Use only a genuine battery - a non-genuine battery can damage the trimmer and cause
injury.
• Use only a genuine charger - a non-genuine charger can damage the battery.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals. - When the battery pack is not in use, keep it
away from coins, keys, paper clips, nails, screws and other small metal objects, as this can
create a short circuit between battery terminals. A short circuit can cause fire or injury.
• Connect the charger to 230V.
• Batteries should never be exposed to fire.
• Never store the battery under 10

or over 40
°
C.
• Use the charger indoors.
• The battery must always be removed during maintenance of the machine and when the
machine is left unattended.
• Never open the battery.
• If the battery is used incorrectly may get fluid out of the battery. Do not touch this liquid. If
it does, rinse with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if splashed in the eyes.
• After prolonged use, the battery may become hot. Allow to cool before charging.
• Keep both battery and charger away from children.
• Do not use the charger in an environment where there are fumes or flammable liquids.
• Never allow the battery to charge for more than 24 consecutive hours.
Disposal
Waste electrical products must not be disposed of with the household waste.
This tool should be taken to your local recycling centre for safe treatment.
