Charging the battery
Connect the charger to 230V.
The battery must be charged for at least 5 hours the first time before the machines is used.
After this, the normal charge time is about 3-5 hours.
The battery is an 18 Volts battery, type Lithium-Ion and must only be charged in an original
18Volts charger. Always store the charger inside.
The charger switches off automatically when the battery is fully charged.
It is recommended not to let the battery sit in the charger more than 24 hours.
The LED indicator on the battery show the charging status of the battery. When the battery
is fully charged, all the four LED diodes is lit.
The surface of the battery can be warm during charging. This is normal.
During storage, the battery should be fully charged and stored warm.
Important
To protect the battery from total discharge, the machine will stop running when the battery
is low .
The machine must not be restarted after automatic stop, as this may damage the battery.
The battery must be charged before continuing.
Clothing
When using the machine, wear tight-fitting work clothes,
strong working gloves, hearing protectors and boots
with non-skid soles.
Operation
To start the trimmer, activate the
on/off switch (
1 & 2
).
Stop the trimmer by releasing the
of/off switch.
Allow at least 5 seconds for the spool
to stop rotating.
Always hold both handles, when
using the trimmer.
