The Macintosh used to run TI

GRAPH LINK 2 using the
USB TI GRAPH LINK cable must meet the following
hardware and software requirements.
•
Any PowerPC-based Macintosh with USB support
running Mac OS 8.1 or better, or Apple USB 1.1 or
better.
•
Apple “SerialShimLib” extension installed prior to
installing the TI
-
GRAPH LINK USB driver.
Note:
The SerialShimLib is part of the Mac OS 8.6 system
update and is installed ONLY on Macintosh computers
with built-in USB support (i.e., iBook, iMac, Blue & White
G3 and G4 models). It can be added to the extension folder
of systems running Mac OS 8.1 with either built-in USB
(original iMacs), or systems that have installed a third-
party USB card and are using Apple’s USB Card Support.
Please note that support for Mac OS 8.1 is limited to the
original iMac computers only.
