Digital Gain Control
For smaller loudspeakers it may be desired to use a
Digital Gain
setting lower than 0dB during
playback at maximum volume. This is especially true when maximum SPL is achieved at much
lower gain settings.
In the
page, adjust the Digital Gain control down while playing heavily
compressed music until the perceived maximum loudness starts to decrease.

Note that this gain control occurs before the Smart Amp algorithm (i.e. pre-processing). If it is
discovered that the optimal Digital Gain level is below -6dB, then it may be a better option to
adjust the post processing gain levels instead (requires re-calibration). This will achieve a better
signal to noise ratio (SNR). Post processing considerations are discussed in Section
4.5
Snapshots
Snapshots can be used to compare between different
tunings. To create a Snapshot, click
. A
will appear.
Snapshots can be named by clicking and deleted by
clicking
.
Click
to replace the selected Snapshot or click
to
create a completely new one.

Saving a Tuning
The tuning data can be saved by clicking the
button at
the
Title Bar
and selecting
Save
. This will output a .ppc3 file
that corresponds to the App being used.
