CAUTION
Leaking battery acid may lead
to chemical burns.
– Store both new and used
batteries so that they are not
accessible to children.
– Do not allow battery acid to
come into contact with skin,
eyes or mucous membranes.
In the event of contact with
battery acid, immediately
flush the applicable areas
with plenty of clean water and
consult a physician if neces-
sary.
Batteries (particularly lithium
batteries) can explode if used
improperly.
– Never attempt to recharge
batteries.
– Only use batteries of the
same or equivalent type.
– Never heat or short circuit
batteries or rechargeable
batteries, or dispose of them
in fire.
– Do not expose batteries and
rechargeable batteries to
direct sunlight.
In order to operate the remote
control, you will need two type AAA or
micro batteries with 1.5 Volt (included
in the pack contents).
You should change the batteries if the
remote control stops working properly
or after 2 years at the latest.
Inserting batteries
1. Gently push the battery compart-
ment cover
(42)
in the direction of
the arrow until it pops open.
2. If applicable, remove any old
batteries (please observe the
disposal notes on page 5).
3. Insert the new batteries according
to the image on the battery
compartment; make sure the
polarity is correct.
4. Put the cover back in place and
push it closed.
Functionality
The remote control relays the control
signals by means of infrared light. For
this, you will have to point the front
of the remote control towards the
KB 62 CR. Make sure that the infrared
light is not obstructed by objects.
