The remote control is not

The Wi-Fi connection to
the Wi-Fi base station is

Check whether the Teufel WiFi Link USB adapter is correctly connected to the USB
port of the Impaq 8000 (see page 15).
If necessary, remove any USB extension used and check whether it is possible to
establish a connection.
Check whether the Wi-Fi password has been correctly entered (page 23).
Check whether a Mac address filter is active in the Wi-Fi base station (AP) and if
applicable, enter the MAC address of the Impaq 8000 in this filter as an exception.
Make sure that the Wi-Fi function on your Wi-Fi base station has been switched on.
The Wi-Fi connection to
the Wi-Fi base station
cuts out.
Do not set up the Impaq 8000 directly next to or under obstacles and metallic ob-
jects (e.g. in a closed cabinet).
Setting up the Impaq 8000 and the Wi-Fi base station in a different position is often
enough to improve the Wi-Fi connection. To the extent possible, there should be no
obstacles within the direct line between the devices.
